The Client This international organisation is a mining and resource company of iron ore and coal. They have strong relationships with their partners and are dedicated to their economic, social and environmental responsibilities. With several projects around WA and Australia they provide lump and fine products to the international market. The Role This position is the on-site manager of the environmental services team. They contribute to the short to long term future of the projects through effective management of operations, ensuring compliance with external and internal policies and provide site support and resources to the team. Key duties include: * Leadership and management of site based environmental personnel * Provide advice to the operational personnel * Undertaking site assessments * Environmental reporting * Coordinating rehabilitation activities and closure plans The Candidate * Relevant tertiary qualifications * Experience in environmental management to the mining industry * Prior experience with mine site rehabilitation * Ability to effectively organise, plan and lead a team If successful you will be well financially rewarded (depending on level of experience), work with a team of dedicated and like minded professionals, on-going training and support.
