Our client is a dynamic Australian company that are looking for a Commodity Marketer to join their team due to their dynamic growth in the industry. The role will involve liaising with growers of Grains, Pulses, Oilseeds and Cotton and then delivering a professional service to their growing buyer base. This candidate will be a vital cog in a close knit team. The role will be based in Narrabri in Western NSW.

The role will involve, travelling regionally and building relationships with growers and clients/buyers in order to market and accumulate commodities and manage the contracts between grower and buyer. An agricultural background and an understanding of the rural industry and commodities will help with the fostering of these relationships. Knowledge of current market conditions, process and competitor activity will also be invaluable in this role.

The successful candidate will have great communication and presentation skills, as you will be dealing with growers and buyers daily and organising and presenting and client visits and meetings. Tertiary qualifications in an agricultural or business discipline would be looked upon favourably. We are looking for genuine individuals that have a passion for the agricultural industry and enjoy dealing with key stakeholders.
